Conch Cement Attended First Building Materials ESG Sustainable Development Forum and Won Multiple Honors

On June 20, 2025, the “First Building Materials ESG Sustainable Development Forum” hosted by China Building Materials Federation was held in Beijing. The forum, with the theme of “Green Transformation and Building a Sustainable Future”, aims to jointly discuss the implementation path of ESG concepts in building materials industry and inject new momentum into promoting green, low-carbon, safe and high-quality development of the industry. Conch Cement was invited to attend the forum and received multiple ESG honors.
The forum released ESG rating of building materials industry, which integrates mainstream frameworks at home and abroad, determines 13 industry issues, clarifies 122 key performance indicators, and scientifically measures the development resilience of companies. This rating covers 131 building materials companies, with a total of 15 companies receiving an A+ rating. At the same time, typical ESG practice cases in building materials industry for 2024 were released, covering 5 practice cases each under 4 subjects: environment, society, corporate governance, and climate change. Conch Cement has been awarded an A+ rating in building materials industry for its excellent ESG governance and practices, and has been selected as one of the three thematic practice cases in the fields of environment, society, and governance. In addition, Conch Cement was invited to share its ESG practice experience on the forum with the theme of “Implementing Dual Carbon Strategy and Leading Green Development”.
The multiple honors won by Conch Cement this time reflect the high recognition of the building materials industry for the company’s ESG governance and practice, and also demonstrate the benchmark demonstration role of the company in promoting the industry’s low-carbon and green transformation.
